And here is a photo of me at 9 weeks 4 days. That's right...there is nothing really showing yet. In the mornings my stomach looks like the photo...but it gets bigger throughout the day, following a meal. Basically, as soon as I eat, my clothes feel A LOT tighter.

Week 9

Here's the latest Ultrasound. I am visiting a different office and so it seems the machine they used does not give a clear picture as the previous office machine did. But Baby P (circled in red) is there and growing. S/he actually said "hello" when we were looking at it on the screen!! And s/he bounced for us.

I am still feeling ok. Very little nausea. There was one morning I woke up and thought I was going to have some serious morning sickness, but two biscottis did the trick.

Week 8 ultrasound w/ heart beat

This is our last week with the specialist. Yeah!! You can see that the baby has doubled in size compared to last week. And you can sorta see the head and arms. Its kinda funny looking and cute at the same time.

Here's an excerpt about what is happening this week from BabyCenter.com
"New this week: Webbed fingers and toes are poking out from your baby's hands and feet, his eyelids practically cover his eyes, breathing tubes extend from his throat to the branches of his developing lungs, and his "tail" is just about gone. In his brain, nerve cells are branching out to connect with one another, forming primitive neural pathways. You may be daydreaming about your baby as one sex or the other, but the external genitals still haven't developed enough to reveal whether you're having a boy or a girl. Either way, your baby — about the size of a kidney bean— is constantly moving and shifting, though you still can't feel it."
