If you listen closely, you can hear Jacob talking to his mommy.

Its Easter!!
Jacob got dressed up today!!! Coordinating with Papa, Jacob wore a button down shirt with jeans. He looked so handsome.
It seems the dinning area at Nonna Concetta's house gets smaller and smaller at each holiday. This Easter we barely fit at the table. And the noise level was certainly higher. But Jacob was content as he played in his chair, laughed for Francesca and slept when he got tired of all the commotion.

We love company
These past few weeks Jacob has been enjoying the company of family friends and lots of walks in the park. He is growing fast, he now has the ability to cry with tears and his salivary glands are maturing- so he has lots of drool. At his most recent doctor's appointment he received his first set of vaccinations. Since then he hasn't been the same...in a good way. He is now much more responsive and the very next day he smiled!
Paul and Jake are just chillin'.
Lori and Bryan's visit sparked Jacob's first argument over a girl. Bryan had to warn Jacob of the consequences of feeling up his wife. Did I mention Lori and Bryan are expecting a little one of their own?
Here's Jacob warm and cozy as Auntie Ali allows mommy to take a break.

Cuzin Call
Jacob finally met his younger cousin, Michael. It was the first time all of his cousins on his mother's side were together. The video below provides a sample of the noise level. It seemed Michael was perfectly happy sleeping through the noise, Jacob wanted to make noise, Elizabeth tried to quiet Jacob and Alyse and Joseph were playing on their own extremely high level of noise. If we had the noise dosimeter I am sure it would show that we were in violation of some sort of noise ordinance. We'll have to buy ear plugs for the extended family when holiday dinners roll around.
